"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."
A continued study of major points to be found in this verse.
And it shall come to pass in that day - word study/phrase, 'and it shall come pass'; word study/phrase, 'in that day'; word study, came; Over 400 times, 'and it shall come to pass' is used in Scripture. Over 100 times 'in that day' is used in Scripture. We are left with the instructions for that which shall be. It is a prophetic note of what God is going to allow or do. It is given for the sake of men to flee sin and obey the Lord. It is given to deliver from wrath unto mercy. Alas, how few find it. How few understand. For having eyes to see, they cannot see; having ears to hear, they cannot hear. May God give us perceiving hearts, open eyes and ears to understand the way of the Lord.
That this burden shall be taken away from thy should - a burden has been laid upon the children of Israel, due directly to their sin and disobedience.
