Job 22:23

"If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles."

The wayward soul that is a believer must return unto His Lord. Many a child of God has sinned and fallin away from His Presence. They have not lost their salvation, for He that is faithful has said, 'I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.' But the true child of God will be convicted and shown his sin and need to confess and repent to restore the broken relationship. God's desire is that we not fall away nor fail in sin; oh that that would be our desire as well. If thou return to the Almighty - return unto Me, and I will return unto you; Upon the recognition that our heart, mind, soul and life is not right and He is not well pleased with us, the soul that has sinned will return. Again, it is the Holy Spirit convicting and drawing us unto Him. We cannot do this on our own, for left to oursevles, we would stay in sin and perish. 'No man can come unto the Father except through Me'. The term 'if' is a major issue here for us to consider. For there are many that have walked away never more to return unto the Lord. I state again, a true child will return, for the Lord cannot lose His own, He is able to keep us. But the true test is found in whether a wandering one will return or not. If they do not return, then they perish, for they were never His. And right here is the case of so many that once occupied the church, was baptized, practiced religion but has walked away from all and is now in sin. 'If ' they return they will find mercy and forgiveneness, but 'if' they do not return, then wrath and judgement. You might think, 'how foolish not to return?' And that would be true, except the Lord knows the heart and He knows the response of these and whether they will chose to follow, return and obey or reject it all. We busy ourselves in this too much, the Lord is able and knows all this. But it is a major issue, 'If' they return or not. Thou shalt be built up - upon obedience and faithfulness restored, God begins to work;
