Job 17:9

"The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger."

IN the midst of Job's sorrow, he speaks truth of the ones that fear the Lord. The righteous also shall hold on his way - word study, way; The only ways is found in Christ. 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life'. there is no other way to be found. Men are seeking their own way; the way of religion. They will all be destroyed and judged by the Lord. and so Job begins to talk about those in the right way, 'the righteous'. 'All of our righteousness is as filthy rages'. the only righteousness we can have is to be found in the righteousness of Christ. He robes us in His righteousness, for it is acceptable in the sight of the Fahter. Righteousness means to be right with God in all our ways. Are you right in all your ways with the Lord? Is there sin to be found? unfaithfulness? unbelief? gross sin? let us search and examine our ways and see if we be righteous or not. And if there be a child of God that has sinned and been unrighteous then they know that they are able to approach unto the throne of mercy and grace and find forgiveness in the blood of the atonement.
