Esther 7:10

"So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. then was the king's wrath pacified."

In the midst of these developments, the death of Hamn ends part of the problem. He had created the problem, by hating Mordecai, and desiring ot destroy a whole people. Thus, he set about to have Mordecai killed and even built the gallows to do it. But 'be sure your sin will find you out.' So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai - that which he had built was his own demise; And why? For he had set about in folly to kill an innocent people. When God stands up to defend His people, the enemy has no chance. Even when the children of Israel had been beat and killed and the residue sent into captivity, He still watched over them. Their sin was met with judgement, but He would not allow for them to be annhilated. Haman sought after Mordecai's death and it was his own demise instead. How evil are the ways of man, and how God will make the wrongs right. Then was the king's wrath pacified - anger was abated by Haman's death; And this was the king's right hand man. And yet he took hope in this, that Haman die. Perhaps over the cruel intentions of Haman's workings? Perhaps, it was over him throwing himself at Esther and the king perceived him to be forcing her. But the king defintely lost control and his wrath was poured out on Haman. And what shall appease the wrath of the King of Kings? is it to be found in the death of the righteous? Is it that evil will be accoutned for and judged thoroughly? For His ways are right and there is no error foudn within it. What shall pacify Him? To see the righteous rewarded; His glory manifested and His church set free from the ways of this life and established in glory. God has made a way and He will see it to be done. Let all the wicked take notice now, that their evil must be avenged and answered for. And since they have rejected the Son of God, wrath abides upon them. His wrath will not be asswayed until they are judged and sentenced. Cry out for their eyes to be opened, their hearts to be stirred to seek His mercy before it is too late. let the hand of the Lord move us to speak the truth and tell of what awaits to the wicked men of this earth, like that of Haman.
